In October 2007, Mrs. Mary Pawlenty, First Lady of Minnesota unveiled the Plaque to commemorate the Indo- US technology Partnership for Challenged Children and Adults.

This Assistive Technology Centre was formally inaugurated on the Saturday, the 13th of September 2008, by the Hon. Minister for Women and Child Development, Shri. P. Narendra Swamy.
